How have Taz and Gizmo reacted?

Taz has assumed the role of protector. Gizmo is a bit indifferent. I think Giz is a bit unhappy at her status change. But when we come home from where ever we've been, both dogs have to make sure she's okay. They both lick her face a couple of times and then go about their business.
